Christmas Tree Cookies

These cookies will surely make Santa hurry down the chimney! Treat your Santa a little more special this year with these delicious Christmas Tree Cookies. We fell in love at frost sight with the amazing attention to detail with the pine tree icing made with Suncore Foods® Emerald Pandan Leaf Powder. It's a super easy and quick way to color your frosting in this delightfully festive green! Who can resist a sweet, buttery, and warm cookie that looks this good? Seriously, just one look and people will be flocking to them! These darling, sweet cookies will make your Christmas party all the more jolly.


For Cookies:
4.4 oz butter
4 oz powdered sugar
8 oz flour

For Icing:
8 oz cream cheese
3/4 cup unsalted butter
5 cups confectioners sugar
3 tbsp Suncore Foods® Emerald Pandan Leaf Powder
1/4 cup water



1. Preheat oven to 350 F. In a stand mixer cream together butter and powdered sugar until fluffy for about 5 minutes. Stir in flour just until combined. Shape dough into flat disc. Wrap in plastic wrap, refrigerate for 15 minutes. Roll out dough between parchment paper to 1/8 inch thickness. Using Christmas tree cookie cutter cut out shapes. Chill the cookies in the freezer for 5 minutes before baking. Bake at 350F until lightly browned at edges.

2. Dissolve Suncore Foods® Emerald Pandan Leaf Powder in water. In electric mixer, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add confectioners sugar, mix until fluffy. Tint frosting with Suncore Foods® Emerald Pandan Leaf Powder mixture.

3. Fill pastry bag fitted with tips and decorate cookies as desired. Use sprinkles cookies to decorate.
