Ingredients

125 grams French butter
90 grams icing sugar
3 large eggs
125 grams self-rising flour
30 ml milk
3 tbsp Suncore Foods® Marigold Passion Fruit Powder & Seeds
Pinch of salt

 

Directions

1. Mix Suncore Foods® Marigold Passion Fruit Powder & Seeds with water; set aside.

2. Place butter in the bowl of a stand mixer with a wire whisk attachment, whip butter for a minute to loosen it; then add in all the sugar. Whip mixture on medium high speed until very pale and fluffy.

3. Next, add in the eggs; one at a time; whip until well incorporated.

4. Add in sifted flour, salt in 2 batches; followed by the milk and passion fruit mixture.

5. Mix until well incorporated.

6. Transfer batter to baking pan, bake it at preheated oven (170 degrees Celsius) for 30 mins or until a toothpick insert and it comes out clean.

7. Let the cake cool completely on a wire rack.

8. Carefully trim the top part of the cake to get an even layer, cut out with circle rings, decorate, and serve. Enjoy!
